I grew up on a farm and have been drawn to the New Zealand landscape - forever. This series attempts to inspire and foster our imaginations with an approach that favours abstraction over description and perhaps fiction over reality.

The work combines the magic of blur, movement and light to tell stories with layers and depth. The series was created using cinematography and photographic techniques combined with time exposures. The images have been captured in both the North and South Island of New Zealand.

Fabrication will show for the first time at the Baradene Art Show taking place 21-23 May 2021.

This prestigious show displays works from many talented contemporary New Zealand artists and is a fixture on the Auckland arts calendar - it’s an honour to be included.
